Brief
Bosco Building were awarded the Fit out contract for the upgrade of the central facilities at “The Mac” Mining accommodation camp in Moranbah Queensland.
The project involved the construction of 3 new buildings, the Administration Office, Tavern and Kitchen/Dining room.
Works Included
- 2500m² of suspended ceilings.
- Over 2000m² of steel stud, track and furing channel for internal and external walls.
- 3000m² of Plasterboard supplied and installed ready for painting.
- Supply and install 35 doors.
- Supply and install commercial windows, doors and glazing.
- 500m² curved hoop pine ceiling.
Challenges Overcome
Remote area in Northern Queensland.
All Materials had to be trucked in from NSW because of the Qld Floods and the remoteness of the site.
Key Point
We completed the job on program with No Defects.
